When it comes to designing a bathroom, I sometimes
start by talking about tiling and flooring. As most
bathroom suites are plain white, it's easier to
understand people's tastes by seeing which colours
or patterns give them the wow factor. When a
customer has a small space, I always advise them to
use bigger tiles and matching walls and floors. These
make the room feel larger.

review of our bathroom proposition from how we
source our products, to how we train our fantastic
in-store team. We have analysed the trends and
made sure we have exactly what customers want
and need in their bathrooms. I am really excited to

The best thing about working with Wickes is that
everything is there for you when you start the job,
and if it's not, I've got a direct line to someone who'll
get it sorted. Wickes are very good at keeping in
touch with me, and their customers, during the fit
and after. They won't walk away at the end; they
want to be sure that everything is exactly right
If a customer comes to me with absolutely no idea
what they want, I show them some examples of
similar sized spaces. As we go through it, they can
point out what they do and don't like. I tell them not to
worry about layout – that's my job - but think about
colours and storage. Finally, the best bit of advice
I give customers is don't be afraid to move things
around. People think you can't move a toilet, but you
can. Everything is achievabie.
