THERE’S AN APP
FOR THAT
Money has been tighter
this year, so making
something out of nothing
has been key. I put your
What can I make with...
app to the test: I had
bacon, onion and a
cabbage. It suggested
Lazanki, a simple Polish
pasta dish – it was so
unique, and a delicious
alternative to anything I’d
have thought of. The app
is free, introduces you to
new meals, reduces
waste and saves money.

SILVER LINING
MY NEW GO-TO
I keep finding recipe gems in every
edition of the magazine, and I am
particularly fond of the vegan and
vegetarian recipes. Yesterday we tried
the Potato, cauliflower & spinach tikka
masala (November), which was easy to
cook and delicious. I often struggle to
come up with new weekly meals, and
Tesco magazine is definitely my go-to!

IN STORE
NOW
It has been such a
difficult year, but I am
so grateful to all the
staff at Tesco for
keeping us going. The
magazine has been a
constant cheer through
the lockdowns, with so
many new ideas to try
(especially if you have
time on your hands)!
