Next was first established in 1982 under the J Hepworth & Son group after acquiring Kendalls for the purposes of opening women’s clothing stores across the country. Within the same year that Next was founded, 70 stores opened across the UK.
Following its successful expansion, Next opened another 500 stores by 2015 and currently operates in 70 countries across the globe. Customers can locate these UK Next stores countrywide with areas including Sheffield, Birmingham, Gloucester, Portsmouth, Canterbury, and more locations.
All products in Next stores include women’s clothing (dresses, jeans, jackets, jerseys), women shoes (boots, heels, flats, and trainers), and men’s clothing (suits, jackets, jeans, and shirts). In addition, Next Kids is the children’s clothing department found in all stores and including a wide range of quality children’s clothes.
