1. Thinly slice the onion and garlic.
Finely chop the ginger. Peel the apples
and cut into chunks.

2. Put into a large pan, along with the vinegar,
sugar, cinnamon and coriander. Slowly bring to
the boil while stirring then add salt and pepper.
Chop the plums into quarters, remove the
stones and chop the flesh into chunks. Add to
the pan, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Remove the lid and simmer for 20 minutes,
stirring until the chutney thickens. Allow to
cool then spoon into the jars. Seal and store
for up to 2 weeks.
