Natasha: I'm sure we nearly got
divorced three times! At the
beginning, we used to have
arguments all the time, but then
we said, 'Right, we're only going
to talk about it for a set time every
day and that's it.' That really helped.

Has parenting changed you?
Nick think having wanted this for
so long, l've never worked so hard,
had so little sleep and yet felt so
invigorated. Being a parent is a really
big challenge and lots of hard work,
a second one!

Gary: It's definitely matured me as a
person; I'm more relaxed. With work
and life, you can get quite uptight,

known before you became a parent?
Nick: All those parenting books
on my bookshelf -I really should
have read them before giving
Gary: I think it's astonishing how
much you can love someone that
