1 Wash and dry 6 eating apples.
Push an ice lolly stick firmly
into each one, through the
base. Grease a sheet of baking
paper with unsalted butter.
Fill a bowl with cold water.
2 Heat 450g demerara sugar,
50g unsalted butter, 2tsp cider
vinegar, 1tbsp Asda Clear
Honey and 150ml cold water
in a pan, stirring, until the
sugar dissolves completely.
3 Boil for 10 mins or until a little
of the mixture dropped into the
bowl of water hardens right away.
Don't worry if it looks frothy
4 Remove from
dip the apples in the toffee to
coat take care as it's very hot.
Stand them on the greased baking
paper, then allow to set and cool
completely before serving.
